The East Coast

Right now we are just praising the Lord, because his contract for Airborne training has been canceled. We are guessing that they reviewed his medical profiles and decided he wasn't fit for it. We knew that and we are so thankful that they realized that before they shipped him over there just for him to get medically discharged from it. At this point I am exhausted and headed to bed considering it is 12:48am right now and I have to be up early to take the boys to get their school physicals done.

Are you serious?? You mean, I'm moving to Texas and you're moving to Georgia? How funny! :) I'm glad you found out. Such a relief finally knowing!
I know nothing about this post other than it is VERY close to my hometown in SC. Jealous.
I'm sure you and your family will love it there and I can't wait to see it through your eyes!
You know what this means! I'm coming to visit! You will be right down the road from me! I've been living there the pass 6 months pretty much, so if you have any questions or need anything let me know. I know some people who live around town up there who have kids too, so I'm here if you need me! Yeah for orders!
Double YAY!!!!! Yay, to cancelling airborne and yay to finally having orders!!!!
we just left Fort Gordon in May after 2 1/2 years there. Ask away :)
Yay! I know you are glad to finally know where you are going. I live in GA--about 3 hours away from Ft. Gordon. My husband was stationed there MANY years ago, when he was in the army. I'm quite sure it has changed since then, but he liked it and was there for several months In fact, he did his Basic training there.
Georgia is a good place to live, and there are lots of attractions around. I love Stone Mountain Park, Six Flags, The GA Aquarium, and Zoo Atlanta, and ofcourse you will be close to Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, GA--and you can go tubing in Helen, GA. Sounds like fun, huh?
I am stationed rather close to you....Fort Stewart. We have just newly arrived and so far we are loving Georgia. I'm glad you got your orders, the not knowing part is a KILLER
I know nothing of it either but the name. I always hear of Benning, which is where our neighbors and half our current post are moving too soon.
Glad you got the orders though and can get this new chapter started rather then just hanging around. Good luck on the move!
Yeah!!! Glad it is working out!
Hooray!!! Congrats on getting orders!!!
