We are in the process of redoing the kids bedrooms with new bedding and dressers so once that is all done and they are finished I will post the end result. This is what they look like right now though.

Well I made the curtains for my dining room today. We are six months post remodel and I am just now finding material that I love enough to make curtains out of. The fabric is from Moda's Panache line. I am going to use it for a throw blanket as well for our living room.

Remodel Update 3-17

That right everyone, our remodel is finished minus the baseboards and my curtains. Here are the kitchen and laundry room before and afters. I will be posting more before and after pics once I figure out where I want all of my pictures to be hanging up. I did get the valance made for the kitchen, I love it!! Yesterday

Well yesterday started of late, we woke up about 30min before the kids had to be at school, so you could imagine the scramble that was going on in my house trying to get everyone out the door. After I dropped the kids off at school I got home and not 5 min after walking in the door the school calls. I have to go pick up Colin b/c he went into one of his coughing fits and he threw up on himself. I do the same thing though so I knew how he felt, coughing just makes our gag reflex go into overdrive. So I had a day with my youngest two, it was actually very nice. We didn't get too much productive stuff done, but we did read 3 books and just enjoy our time together. Whenever the kids are home sick from school or if they have a day off it just makes me what some to get here faster. I cannot wait until my kids are home from school and with me all day. We have so much fun during the summer, it just cannot get here fast enough. Thankfully spring break is in a month so that will be a nice treat. It would be wonderful if the lakes were warm enough to go swimming, I doubt it though. The earliest we can usually start going swimming is the first of May.

Yesterday afternoon... well night we were able to get all of the hallway and part of the dining room finished. Cayleigh-Grace decided she was going to "help" daddy with the box of flooring.
She then proceeded to scoot over to the boys and give them a hand with their toys. She just wanted to make sure that they were doing everything correctly.

Then she figured she would end the night by curling up with daddy and snuggling up in his legs.

She is getting so good at scooting around!! She is really catching on to it really fast!

Living Room!!!

Well minus rehanging my pictures, making my curtains (after I decide on fabric choices), and putting up the baseboards (which we have yet to buy) the living room is FINISHED!! Oh, I also need to paint the front door, but that doesn't matter the hard stuff is done!... now only 3 more rooms to go. The room looks SO much BIGGER its amazing, Kiale picked the wall color out. I know it is going to really be a surprise to a lot of people b/c they know how much I cannot stand white walls, but it isn't white its tan, and just wait until you see my curtains... There will be PLENTY of color in the room, trust me! I really do like the color though, it looks like beach sand.


Did I mention I LOVE the living room! Kiale and I were up until 12:30 this morning working on it. My husband is so AMAZING spends all day working at the shop just to come home and work for another 5+ hours on his hands and knees putting down a wood floor. I know he is happy though, I got two kisses before he left for work today, I love that man!
