That is how I am feeling today, just plain blah. This morning was good and productive, registered the kids for school, took Kiale to his speech class, came home and KS made me lunch during his lunch break. It was nice, and this this afternoon I have just spiraled into a bad mood with 0 patience for the kids. Which always makes dealing with them so much harder, especially when the littlest things set you off... but oh well. We all have our good days and our bad days. I didn't work out this morning and that my have something to do with my attitude, although not the main reason. I just started back to working out after taking a month off. Back in late June I got really sick and was out of commission for almost 2 full weeks. Turns out I had a gallstone and I had a pretty serious gallbladder attack. I was too stubborn to go to the hospital for until KS told me I had to go 3 days later because I was yellow and clearly jaundice. Somehow I managed to have one large stone that ended up blocking my bile duct resulting in the jaundice. Let me tell you people, for those of you who have never had jaundice... it SUCKS. You itch, and I'm talking severe itching that doesn't stop. I would wake myself up in the middle of the night because I was scratching in my sleep. The itching lasted for almost two weeks and I thought I was going to loose my mind from it. Thankfully it subsided just in time for my sisters wedding July 9th!

Summer's end
Sunday, July 31, 2011
As many of you have noticed I took the summer off from blogging. With the kids home I just couldn't bring myself to blog, so I decided to just take the summer off. It has been a good summer, but it has also been a very rough summer. The boys will be starting school in the next few weeks, Cayleigh-Grace will be starting dance lessons and homework will be back into full swing. The latter of which I am not looking forward to but it comes with the territory. With school back in I will be back to regular blogging as well as a recap of our summer. We had some pretty big things go on these past three months; the boys played T-ball for the first time and I my sister went from being a Miss to a Mrs. I am looking forward to getting back into our school time routine and I think deep down the boys are too. Talk to you all soon!

A picture of the person (or persons) I do the craziest stuff with...
Friday, January 14, 2011
This was very easy... My sisters and I, but we haven't done anything crazy in what seems like FOREVER... So maybe it would be...
Holly, Dixie, and I. |
These awesome girls from our days at AIT. Man do I miss them all.
Or, maybe this bunch of crazy people; who I end up doing crazy stuff with every day, from food fights to sledding down hills on metal cookie sheets.
Savanna, Teri, me, and Kalee. |
I think its a three way tie, or a nine way tie, however you want to look at it.

Day 10...

Limbo
Thursday, February 11, 2010
No, I am not talking about the fun game we all played in our childhood, and at some wild and crazy weddings. I am talking about where I am at right now. I am hanging in limbo waiting for either the green light or the yellow light. Unfortunately I will continue hanging in limbo until KS and I can sit down and talk about all of our options there are lots of pros and cons all of which revolve around when we should move. Should it be June or should it be March/April? If we move in March/April we will not have to wait for a house one is already ready for us, but we would have to move the kids out of their wonderful school into a school whose curriculum is quite a bit less then the school they are currently attending. They boys would be ahead of their peers but I do not want them bored in class. Colin would be going from a full day preK with reading, writing, math, Spanish, and Bible study to a half day of preK... Kiale will continue to be in a full days classes, but their new school just doesn't offer everything that their current school does so I am just starting to think that it will be better for the kids to finish out the school year here. KS won't be able to live with us until April-ish and I know I don't want to move until he can actually live with us. Although, we would get to see him at night and on weekends if we were to move, but I realize that a lot of his time will be taken up with school and homework. So if we were to move mid April, they would only have a month and a half of school left to complete if we were to stay, and looking at the grand scheme of things I keep thinking to myself why not just stay and finish out the school year. Kiale and my sister are both graduating this year, full cap and gown graduations ceremonies. One from Kindergarten and one from high school and I really want to get pictures of the two of them together with their cap and gowns and I also want to see her graduate, as well as be here for her Senior Prom. There are so many different reasons why I want to stay here, and of course the reason I want to move. Well that's the easy one, KS.
This is where I stop and ask all of my experienced Army Wife friends and any other readers experienced with moving school aged children for advice. So please leave your thoughts in my comments section, I don't want to overlook anything that I may not be currently aware of once KS and I are able to sit down and make our decision, and please remember, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Thank You. ~Charity
By the way... I sold my van today, that is one thing I get to mark off my list, and buy selling that it means I will get to mark several other things off of my list that I needed the money from the van to complete!! I am one happy woman today!!

Kinda Quiet
Thursday, April 23, 2009
Life has been kinda quiet this week and I have to admit so have I. We are back into our usual routine and as much as I like having routines it does make life go just that much faster. I was thinking while I was taking the boys to school this morning and I realized that time goes so much faster with the kids in school. Before the boys were school age the days and weeks went so much slower... now they just fly by. Do you realize that my daughter is going to be eight months old in two weeks, that is right I said 8!!! months!!! old!!! do you realize how old that is?! that is just 4 months shy of the big 1 year!! it is just not possible. Time just goes so fast, and it is so incredibly depressing... not to mention that my little KJ will be turning 6 years old in 4 months as well... I don't think I am liking the thought of September coming around. I realize that I am very VERY blessed to have had three pregnancies with three wonderfully healthy babies that have grown to be healthy, loving, and fun kids... but its still hard to except the fact that they do get older and one day (a very long way away) they will grow and move out... oh well thats life. My sister is turning 17 tomorrow... crazyness!!

Dixie's Talent Night
Monday, March 9, 2009
I just realized that I didn't post pics from Dixie's talent night on Feb 28. What can I say it has been a VERY busy week. So here they are!

She danced to "Its Oh So Quiet" which is the song that I picked out for her to dance to 2+ years ago. It was on a CD that was given out as a gift favor at my sister-in-laws wedding, and as soon as I heard it I know its what she had to dance to for the Miss High School Pageant. I can not express how proud I was seeing her up on that stage! One of my best friends, Toni, who owns her own dance studio choreographed the dance for her and spent the time to teach her. You see 2 years ago it was my intention to choreograph the dance but as we all know time changes all things, and I didn't end up going to dance school like I had intended to at that time. Toni did such an amazing job. So much better than I could have ever dreamed of doing. I don't even think I could express in words the amount of appreciation and gratitude that I feel for Toni taking care of my sister the way she did. The dance was amazing! Thank you so much Toni, I know I have already told you, but it really meant so much to me for you do do that for her, and she looked so wonderful! Luv ya girl!

Dixie's High School Pageant
Well even though my sister didn't place in the local Miss High School pageant that she took part in, she won in my heart. She looked beautiful, and even dedicated her talent night dance to me. Talk about me tearing up ... She was so amazing throughout the entire 2 nights, and she carried herself with so much poise. She even got through the speaking parts with a breeze.

Happy New Year!!
Thursday, January 1, 2009
Happy New Year everyone!! I don't know what you all did but I rang in the New Year with a little shopping therapy. Nothing like a little shopping to make you feel better and to get you a bit on the relaxed side. Dixie (my middle sister) and I (+ my kids) hit the St. Augustine Outlet Mall today. It was wonderful, aside from the chilly and overcast weather, you just cant beat 4 hours of shopping. Especially when all three kids were wonderful and didn't act up a bit. No tantrums, crying, and only a little bit of overly touching stuff. It was a great day.
Had to take this video of Cayleigh-Grace she is trying to get up on her knees... I guess she keeps forgetting she is only almost 4 months old... enjoy!
