Well I have wonderful news for our family, Kiale got his scholarship for school next year. This is such good news for us that means that he will be able to continue going to school at the private Christian school that he is currently attending. The crazy part... I will have a Kindergartner next year. Wow and hat kindergarten will be turning six in 4 months... double WOW...
Oh, and I forgot to mention last week that Cayleigh-Grace cut her two top teeth on Thursday! She now has 4 teeth!
An Expensive Week
Tuesday, April 28, 2009
When it rains it pours doesn't it!! My husband has a VERY large air compressor... well guess what decided to break last week, the motor for it. No big deal right, just go buy a new one... well a new motor for it cost $400... not really sure when that purchase is going to happen. Then Sunday my camera broke, to buy my exact camera again is... just guess... another $400 dollars... that is $800 dollars worth of broken stuff in the course of a week. Thankfully KS bought me a new camera last night. Not the same one of course but that's okay I will just be glad to have a camera back again. It is a Kodak EasyShare Z1012 10.1MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. I am really hoping that I like it, my cousin uses Kodaks as his backup to his professional camera so I really hope I like it. It does have full manual controls which will be nice.
On a lighter note we took the boys to their first Cub Scouts meeting last night. Technically the are both to young but since Kiale's birthday is late (he will be turning 6 when he starts Kindergarten) we will be able to work around it and he will be able to join. Colin is going to have to wait a while to officially join but he will still be able to participate when we go to the meetings. It was really nice last night they had a bonfire and then did a scavenger hunt in the woods. (and did I have a camera to capture their first meeting... NO!) The Kiale is going to be in the Tiger Den, I love all of the different names for the age groups, its so cute!!
I opened up my own Etsy shop today. Their isn't anything in it yet since I do not have a camera as of right now, but when I am able to list some items I will post it on here so everyone can go check it out!! I am really excited about it. I even had a lady offer to buy one of Cayleigh-Grace's hair bows while I was at the mall this weekend, I was so excited!! Hopefully it will go well.

Kinda Quiet
Thursday, April 23, 2009
Life has been kinda quiet this week and I have to admit so have I. We are back into our usual routine and as much as I like having routines it does make life go just that much faster. I was thinking while I was taking the boys to school this morning and I realized that time goes so much faster with the kids in school. Before the boys were school age the days and weeks went so much slower... now they just fly by. Do you realize that my daughter is going to be eight months old in two weeks, that is right I said 8!!! months!!! old!!! do you realize how old that is?! that is just 4 months shy of the big 1 year!! it is just not possible. Time just goes so fast, and it is so incredibly depressing... not to mention that my little KJ will be turning 6 years old in 4 months as well... I don't think I am liking the thought of September coming around. I realize that I am very VERY blessed to have had three pregnancies with three wonderfully healthy babies that have grown to be healthy, loving, and fun kids... but its still hard to except the fact that they do get older and one day (a very long way away) they will grow and move out... oh well thats life. My sister is turning 17 tomorrow... crazyness!!
What a weekend...

This weekend was nothing short of busy!! Mom, Dixie, Holly, Cayleigh-Grace and I all went to a bridal shower on Saturday, which was wonderful. We then took a quick detour to the Vera Bradley store where Cayleigh-Grace got her first Vera bag!! Well... its more of a clutch but same thing. I was so excited, we are a bit of purse a-holics in our family. We LOVE purses!!! Dooney and Bourkes as well as Vera Bradley bags are our favorites!
On Sunday I made dinner for my sister's boyfriend's family who recently had a loss in their family... so I took it over to his house during lunch time, and then went over to my mom's for a little visiting. After Cayleigh-Grace and I got back home, I left the boys with Kiale, we worked in the yard and planted the flowers that I got with my birthday money.
Over all it was a really nice weekend.

Miss Piggy

This is what Miss Grace does, all the time. She has me in constant fits of laughter with all her snorting!! I just love it she has snorted since she was probably 2-3 months old and started laughing, but she does it non stop now!
Long Term Goals
Thursday, April 16, 2009
Well here is our exciting news...
1. We are moving, not yet and probably not for a good 3-5 years with this economy, but we are going to be moving. We are going to be headed up to Huntsville Alabama as soon as the economy gets better and houses start selling again, and we are able to sell our house.
2. Once the kids get older and are less dependent upon me I will be going to school to become a midwife, I realize that I am talking a good 10 years + but that is what long term goals are for right!?
Kiale has wanted to move for quite awhile now, but I have finally made the decision that I want to move as well, the only problem is that we are both ready to move now, but we know that with this economy and the way houses are not selling our plans are going to take a long time to become reality.

Raccoons and Oreo's
We went out to a friends house last night for dinner, and they have a pet/wild raccoon that they have been feeding. They have been able to get this raccoon tame enough so that it will come and take Oreo cookies right out of your hand, so as you can imagine the boys had a blast feeding her.
The boys decided that the antlers made good play toys, so they were running around the house playing deer.
Cayleigh-Grace sat up by herself from a laying down position for the first time while we were at Kirbys, we were so excited!!

Easter Bunny Pics
Thursday, April 9, 2009
I would have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying spring break with the boys home. We really have been having a wonderful time. We have yet to stay home for a full day, which has been nice! I love doing stuff with my kids!! It really helps that they are VERY easy going and completely go with the flow personalities. Well yesterday was spent out going to the mall and getting our Easter Bunny pictures done. Thankfully my kids do not freak out at all with either the Easter bunny or Santa, so the pictures are always great. They really had a good time especially since we went to the park inside the mall following the picture and I let the boys play for a while, they had a blast! This summer is going to be wonderful, my goal is to have the boys totally swimming on their own by the end of it. Kiale was close last year so hopefully they will catch on pretty quick.
Prayer Request
I am sorry to say that my Mother-in-law's sister committed suicide, they think she did it last Friday. Please pray for her and her family she had two son's one of which I know was married and has at least one if not two kids. I could not imagine what they are all feeling and going though. I had only seen her once, and my husband only had a few occasions where he had seen her... but please keep them all in your prayers.
I'm Back
Wednesday, April 8, 2009
Well I have to admit I was a bit annoyed about a few things that I won't go into right now, but I am back! The boys are in Spring Break this week and it has been a wonderful few days. The weather has not been as nice as I would have liked since Sunday but Saturday was beautiful. Cayleigh-Grace and I spent some Mommy Daughter bonding time sun bathing while all the boys were taking a nap on Saturday afternoon. The weather went from in the 80's on Saturday to cloudy and nasty Sunday and by Monday we were under a freeze warning for that night... that our states crazy flippy-floppy weather for you though! Here are some pics I took from this weekend, hope you enjoy them!
Soon to Come
Thursday, April 2, 2009
I should have a wonderful announcement pretty soon, Kiale and I are still discussing it. It will end up having a large impact on our family, but it will be well worth the effort! Please pray that we both come to agreement on this decision.
