How is the woman planning a VBAC any different then a woman planning a normal, vaginal birth? Answer: there is no difference. Uterine rupture rates are less than 1% in both a VBAC with one prior uterine incision, and in a woman giving birth vaginally for the first (or second, or third...) time. Less than 1%!!!
